■Summary
Have you ever thought that with a conventional curved mirror, even if you can check oncoming vehicles, it is difficult to see? With conventional curved mirrors, when looking at the mirror from an angle, the image becomes vertically elongated and thin. On the other hand, wide mirrors make objects appear horizontally long when viewed from the front, but can project images with less distortion when viewed from an angle.
■Types of wide mirrors
You can choose from a total of six wide mirror types: three types (A, B, and C types) and three sizes (S, M, and L sizes).
■Choose from three types
The mirror image becomes more vertically deformed as the observation angle increases. In order to accommodate this characteristic, we have prepared three types of wide mirrors with different image aspect ratios. Please select the wide mirror that matches the observation angle of the installation location from types A, B, and C.
■A type (Usage range: Observation angle 0~120°)
This product has an aspect ratio of 1:1.4. Can be used at intersections with observation angles up to 120°.
■B type (Usage range: Observation angle 100~140°)
This product has an aspect ratio of 1:2. It can be used on gentle curves with an observation angle of 100° to 140°.
■C type (Usage range: Observation angle 140~155°)
This product has an aspect ratio of 1:3. It can be used in gentler curves with an observation angle of 140° to 155°.
■Choose from three sizes
The wide mirror is available in three sizes: S, M, and L to accommodate a variety of curves. Please select the size that suits the environment of the installation location.
・S size Compatible with conventional mirror sizes 800mm and 600mm
・M size Compatible with conventional mirror sizes 1,000 and 800
・L size: Projects a large image not found in conventional mirrors (large size not found in conventional mirrors)
■Caution
- The aspect ratio of the image will change depending on the type of A, B, or C, but the size of the image itself will not change.
・Product contents are only the mirror body and support bracket. The pillar, caution plate, and two-sided mirror mounting bracket are not included.
・Please use the same supports, caution plates, and two-sided mirror mounting brackets as for conventional mirrors.
