About This Product

■Summary

・Jellafin® is a new transparent pressure-resistant waterproofing resin with high elasticity and high adhesion that is specially designed for operating electronic circuits in deep sea. ・Jellafn has obtained a Japanese patent (Patent No. 6162911), a registered trademark (No. 5939928), and a US patent (US11,118,054 B2)

■Waterproof repair work for bridge expansion and contraction equipment using pressure-resistant waterproof resin Jellafin

Gelafin, a two-component urethane resin developed for pressure-proofing and waterproofing electronic equipment used in the deep sea, has a wealth of experience under the sea and is resistant to salt and hydrogen sulfide, making it suitable for installation near beaches and hot springs. It can be expected to be particularly effective in waterproofing bridge expansion and contraction equipment. In addition, the gelafin used is an environmentally friendly material that minimizes the environmental impact during construction and after use. It is relatively easy to install without requiring skilled workers, and the work can be completed quickly. This makes it possible to shorten the construction period and reduce costs.

■Characteristics of Gerafin

・After solidification, it is colorless and transparent and has little effect on light and electromagnetic waves. ・Pressure-resistant and waterproof enough to use electronic devices at a depth of 10,000 meters ・Ultra-adhesive and highly elastic non-adhesive material has high impact resistance and is resistant to earthquakes. ・Excellent moisture-proof, dust-proof, rust-proof, and corrosion-proof properties

・Marine field: Undersea cameras, deep-sea LED lights (8,000m deep), etc. ・Social infrastructure field: Waterproofing and moistureproofing of outdoor surveillance cameras and signal lights / Leakage prevention and emergency reinforcement of bridge expansion and contraction equipment, etc. ・Aeronautics and space fields, etc.: LED wing lights for aircraft, waterproof measures for drones, etc. Scope of application

■Applicable range

Clearance 100mm or less

■Particularly effective range of application

・Bridges with heavy traffic volume that require construction in a short time ・Bridges near the coast and hot spring areas - Areas where noise suppression is required such as urban areas

■Inapplicable range

This method cannot be applied if the underlying concrete or construction site is severely damaged and it is difficult to properly repair it, as construction quality cannot be ensured. Applicable conditions
