Universal Robots is a next-generation robot that is easy to operate, friendly and cooperative with people. Excellent cost performance, and work tests can be started within a few hours. It is flexible and easy to use, and can be installed immediately without worrying about where to install it.
Advantages of implementation
■Equipped with a uniquely developed film switch for even greater safety.
Standard specifications are UR3 (50-150N), UR5・10 (100-150N) (impact force to stop operation). Operation can be stopped at 5N or less by installing an optional film switch. Patent pending for product developed by Quantum Ushikata and Itochu Machine Technos.
■Fast setup
Even operators with no prior robot experience can complete the initial work after installing the robot in less than an hour.
■Easy to program
The large screen pendant is easy to see, just like a familiar smartphone or tablet, and it is a simple pendant with only a power button and an emergency button. It supports Japanese and allows intuitive programming using the 3D simulation function.
■Direct teaching possible
The operator directly moves the 6-axis arm and memorizes the desired point. To make programming even easier, fine adjustments can be made in 0.1mm increments by entering numerical values into the pendant.
■Used in various sites
Because it is lightweight and space-saving, it can be reinstalled in a short amount of time even if the usage environment is different, realizing automated functionality. Possible to quickly change setup to small batch production.
■Transportation that is gentle on both people and goods is possible.
By using Harmotec's low-stress KUMADE hand in conjunction with UR, it is possible to transport goods that are gentle on both people and goods.
