About This Product

This is a packaging bag with a heat-sealable polyethylene gas vent valve attached to the laminate film of the package.

■Achievements and features of Golio's One Way gas vent valve

Goliovalve has a market share of over 50% worldwide and has been approved by the US FDA and the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Japan. As a representative customer, Starbucks Coffee's valves and packaging materials are produced at Fresco System USA, the core of the Gorio Group, and are exported from here to countries around the world. The main function of the valve is to release gases that are typically generated by packaged products (e.g. roasted coffee or fermented foods such as miso). In addition, in industrial heavy packaging bags, by releasing residual air from the valve when filling the contents, it is possible to improve the stability of stacking during storage and transportation. Valves are currently used in products for a variety of applications, and we offer multiple product lineups depending on the application.

■Industrial use

Heavy duty packaging bags that have gas barrier properties even among chemicals and synthetic resins, and do not allow residual air to escape through the outer film after filling. For example, nylon resin, special PE, PP, EVOH, etc.

■Valve specifications

The degassing valve is a polyethylene valve that can be heat-sealed onto the laminate film of the package. The valve is welded to the product, while a food-grade paper filter protects the contents from outside air. Inside the valve, there is a flexible circular piece of rubber that works to open and close the valve, and with a layer of oil and silicone, the rubber inside the valve creates a more secure seal. The valve is activated when the internal pressure exerted by the product (F2) is higher than the sum of the external ambient environmental pressure (F1), the capillary viscosity of the oil (F3), and the elasticity of the rubber (F4). , open and the gas will escape.
