■Features
・IC-R6 (ICR6) is a wideband handy receiver manufactured by ICOM.
- Equipped with a power save function to ensure long battery life.
・Achieves approximately 15 hours of reception with the included Ni-MH (nickel metal hydride) battery, and approximately 19 hours with alkaline batteries (2 AA alkaline batteries). It can be charged in about 15 hours using the included battery charger (AC adapter) BC-196. It is also possible to charge the BC-196 by connecting the separately sold single charger BC-194.
- Built-in bar antenna for AM radio.
・Achieves high-speed scanning of 100ch/sec (in VFO mode), allowing you to catch signals more quickly.
-Equipped with a blank line canceller that eliminates the annoying blank line signal that can be heard when there is no call.
- Equipped with a VSC function (Voice Squelch Control) that automatically skips only unintended signals such as control signals and unmodulated signals during scanning, and captures only the signals with audio.
・The connector on the radio side is SMA-J.
・Manufacturer's free warranty period is 1 year.
