About This Product

Groundwater (well water) contains nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N), which is generated from chemical fertilizers, pesticides, livestock manure, and domestic wastewater. Nitrate nitrogen can react with hemoglobin in the human body, causing oxygen deficiency. Nitrate nitrogen removal equipment can reduce nitrate nitrogen by passing groundwater (well water) through an anion resin that can selectively adsorb nitrate nitrogen. Features of nitrate nitrogen removal equipment

■Ensuring water quality standards according to the Water Supply Act

When well water or river water is used as drinking water, even if the water is properly treated, the treated water often contains trace amounts of nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen. The water quality standards for drinking water are set at a total of 10 mg/L or less for nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen. A resin that preferentially adsorbs nitrate nitrogen and nitrite nitrogen, making it possible to remove them to levels below drinking water quality standards.

■Can be used repeatedly

If the adsorption capacity of the resin has decreased due to continuous water flow, it can be used repeatedly by regenerating it by passing it through salt water.
