About This Product

■Applications

・Collection of aluminum cans from beverage container recycling line ・Recovery of valuable non-ferrous metals from waste home appliance recycling line ・Removal of aluminum pieces from aluminum foundry sand regeneration line ・Removal of aluminum pieces during glass repair

■Features

There are two models: the NMS type (standard type), which is used to sort aluminum cans, etc., and the NFS type (small particle type), which is used to sort small pieces etc. after being discharged from the crusher. Conveyor belt (oil-resistant rubber belt, resin belt), number of rotations per rotation, belt speed, and separation position can also be selected as desired.

■Principle

When a magnet rotor that incorporates rare earth magnets with alternating magnetic poles is rotated at high speed, the magnetic field on the rotor's surface alternates between north and south poles, generating a strong rotating magnetic field. When a non-ferrous metal with good conductivity, such as aluminum or copper, is passed through the rotor, an eddy current is generated, and the magnetic field caused by this eddy current reacts with the magnetic field on the rotor surface, causing the non-ferrous metal to be thrown forward. A strong rotating magnetic field has no effect on non-metals such as glass or plastic, so they flow in a normal falling trajectory and separate from non-ferrous metals.

■Pre-process treatment (Xu iron) is required

It is necessary to thoroughly iron iron in the process before feeding it into the non-ferrous metal separator (quantity supply). If iron pieces are mixed in, the iron pieces will stay in the rotor, causing damage to the belt and rotor. To prevent this, be sure to use a hanging magnetic separator, etc. to slow down the iron before adding it.
