About This Product

It is a prepreg material made by impregnating special phenoxy resin into sheet-like or woven-like reinforcing fibers made of many parallel carbon fibers. In addition to pitch-based carbon fiber and PAN-based carbon fiber, we can also supply prepregs based on aramid fiber, glass fiber, linen, cotton, etc.

・New material with excellent impact resistance and breathability while retaining the features of NS-TEPregⓇ ・Can change shape freely and can be used for various shaped products

■Mesh type hardened product Basic composition

・Fiber: Carbon fiber + organic fiber (polyester, aramid, etc.) *Various combinations of carbon fiber, glass fiber, organic fiber, etc. are possible ・Resin: Special phenoxy resin ・Basic structure: Net structure ・Mesh type cured product weight: 845g/m2 (resin content: 35%) Mesh type features

■Low temperature press moldability

・Thermoplasticity: Secondary processing is possible at low temperatures of 150 to 200℃ (deep drawing possible), cold pressing is possible after preheating (deep drawing possible) ・Mass production: Capable of mass molding by press molding ・Breathability, Lightweight, and Appropriate Rigidity: 50% porosity provides good breathability, and carbon fiber reinforcement provides both lightweight and appropriate rigidity.

■Excellent shock absorption properties

It significantly reduces the peak load when subjected to impact, and exhibits excellent impact absorption performance that is equal to or better than commercially available helmets. If only the shock absorber is used, the impact load will be localized. Carbon mesh disperses and absorbs impact energy.
