About This Product

It is a prepreg material made by impregnating special phenoxy resin into sheet-like or woven-like reinforcing fibers made of many parallel carbon fibers. In addition to pitch-based carbon fiber and PAN-based carbon fiber, we can also supply prepregs based on aramid fiber, glass fiber, linen, cotton, etc.

・Uses environmentally friendly natural fibers and is recyclable, contributing to a recycling-oriented society

■Product lineupDeveloping “prepreg materials,” “processed products/molded plate materials,” and “mesh type molded products.”

Typical features

■Good adhesion with different materials and selectivity of reinforcing fibersExcellent force transmission to fibers due to high interfacial adhesion between fibers and resin. Realization of high strength and high elastic modulus. Fiber selection according to required properties and cost.

■Strength/impact resistance・Strength and elastic modulus equivalent to general CFRP
・Strength and elastic modulus that exceeds general CFRTP
・Shock absorption performance more than twice that of thermoset CFRP

■Secondary processability・Shape adjustment at low temperature, simultaneous molding of press and injection molding
・Mass production possible by press molding
・Customize the shape of molded products in a short time during post-processing
・Improves product yield and contributes to reducing waste of defective products
・Since it is thermoplastic, it can be integrated with resin parts by fusion.
・Base material and injection molding resin melt and adhere
・No adhesive required
