About This Product

For the maintenance and management of social infrastructure such as concrete structures and steel bridges, and for seismic reinforcement of structures, we offer non-corrosive, lightweight continuous fiber sheets, lattice bars, and plates made mainly of carbon fiber, aramid fiber, glass fiber, etc. We offer reinforcing materials in various shapes such as , rods, and strands, along with our own unique construction methods.

■F-ROC method

The F-ROC method is a method to prevent brick tunnels from falling off due to water leakage, by fixing corrugated sheets with FRP rib structure to the tunnel lining surface using special anchors. This is a construction method to prevent tunnel spalling. This construction method was developed in collaboration with the JR East Research and Development Center.

■Characteristics of construction method

・Short-time construction: The construction is as simple as fixing a corrugated sheet with FRP ribs to an anchor, and it can be constructed in a short period of time between trains. ・On-site construction: On-site construction is possible in which panels for the top and side walls are installed in sequence. The panels can be processed on-site by making cuts around the attachments using a disc sander, etc. - Reliable load-bearing capacity: Even with a peeling load of 3kN/m2 for one layer of bricks and sprayed mortar, the displacement, including the thickness of the material, can be suppressed to within 30mm (actual displacement of 8mm). ・High durability: This construction method combines non-corrosive plastic corrugated plates, FRP, and stainless steel anchors, and exhibits high durability as confirmed by freeze-thaw tests.
