About This Product

For the maintenance and management of social infrastructure such as concrete structures and steel bridges, and for seismic reinforcement of structures, we offer non-corrosive, lightweight continuous fiber sheets, lattice bars, and plates made mainly of carbon fiber, aramid fiber, glass fiber, etc. We offer reinforcing materials in various shapes such as , rods, and strands, along with our own unique construction methods.

■Reinforcement method for existing concrete structures using CFRP plate tension bonding Out plate method

The out-plate method is a reinforcement method in which a prefabricated CFRP plate (out-plate) with anchors on both ends is tensioned, fixed and bonded to an existing light concrete body. Compared to the conventional continuous fiber sheet bonding method, by tensioning the outplate, it is possible to introduce prestress into the concrete, and a large reinforcement effect can be obtained with a small amount of reinforcement material. Since thin CFRP plates are used as tendons, there is almost no change in the appearance or cross section after reinforcement, making it especially suitable for constructing RC/PC hollow slab bridges. It can also be applied to external cable reinforcement of steel bridges.

■Characteristics of the outplate method

・High bending reinforcement effect: Improved ultimate bending strength, reduced reinforcing steel stress ・High crack control effect: Closes existing cracks and improves crack generation load ・Deflection recovery: Also effective against dead load ・Improved durability: suppresses penetration of harmful substances by restraining cracks, improves fatigue durability ・Minimum maintenance: Adopts non-corrosive CFRP and takes sufficient preventive measures for the fixing body. ・Reinforcement on the fulcrum of continuous girders is possible from the bottom: Effective use of second moment due to prestressing ・Excellent aesthetics: compact anchorage, minimal cross-sectional changes

・Factory-produced high-strength carbon fiber plate: Homogeneous and high quality due to factory production ・Prefabricated plate with steel anchorage installed at the factory: Ensures reliability of anchorage and shortens on-site construction time
