About This Product

For the maintenance and management of social infrastructure such as concrete structures and steel bridges, and for seismic reinforcement of structures, we offer non-corrosive, lightweight continuous fiber sheets, lattice bars, and plates made mainly of carbon fiber, aramid fiber, glass fiber, etc. We offer reinforcing materials in various shapes such as , rods, and strands, along with our own unique construction methods. Repair and reinforcement method for concrete structures using FRP plates FORCA Tow plate method

■Easy construction with great reinforcement effect

The tow plate method is a reinforcement method in which a CFRP plate is made by impregnating unidirectionally arranged carbon fibers into a thermosetting resin, molding it into a plate shape and hardening it, and attaching it to the concrete surface using an adhesive (special epoxy resin, etc.). Features of toe plate method

■High strength/high rigidity

CFRP plates have higher strength and rigidity per unit width than carbon fiber sheets, so there is no need to apply them to the entire surface of the repaired area, and they can be installed at intervals.

■ Great reinforcement effect even with just one piece

One CFRP plate is equivalent to six layers of carbon fiber sheets, providing a large reinforcing effect, so there is no need to attach multiple layers, significantly reducing the amount of work. (Comparison between tow plate 1t (FTP-C1-10-50) and carbon fiber sheet weight 200g/m² 50mm width)

■Free from "sagging" when working upwards

Since no impregnating agents or adhesives are used at the construction site, the burden on workers and curing during upward construction can be reduced.

■Repair/reinforcement construction example using tow plate method

Ideal for upward work on concrete structure slabs, beams, bridge girders, etc.
