About This Product

Uniquely designed resin has excellent heat resistance and surface hardness, and refractive index can be adjusted over a wide range.

■Features・More freedom in molding shapes compared to glass
・High heat resistance: Compatible with solder reflow resistance
・High transparency: total light transmittance of 90% or more
・High hardness: Prevents scratches on the surface of parts
・High chemical resistance: Stable against various chemicals
・Adhesiveness: Good adhesion to base materials such as glass

■Application examples・Fly-eye lens for head-up display
・Reflow heat-resistant lenses

■Shape freedom・Glass fly-eye lenses: With glass presses, the degree of freedom in shaping the outer periphery of the product is low, and the end faces are C-faced (straight), which is prone to chipping.
・Fly's eye lens made from Esdrimer: Plastic injection molding has a wide range of freedom in shape, and the outer periphery can be designed freely. Curved edges can be processed to prevent chipping.

■Transferability・Glass fly-eye lenses: Due to glass pressing, the boundaries between the lenses cannot be processed sharply, causing light to scatter, the surfaces tending to cloud, and the boundaries between the lenses becoming blurred.
・Fly-eye lenses made with Esdrimer: The boundaries between the lenses are sharply transferred, so there is less light scattering. The surface is glossy and the borders of the lens are clearly defined.
