About This Product

■Eliminates detector background noise and improves baseline stability.Systech hydrocarbon traps remove trace amounts of hydrocarbons and organic materials such as halocarbons from gas streams. The trap is filled with activated carbon, which adsorbs and removes organic compounds larger than methane.

It is effective for improving noisy baselines, spike-like noise, and peaks of unknown origin in ECD and FID detectors. Contamination caused by compressed air gas generators, low-purity gas cylinders, poorly purified gas piping, etc. can be removed by placing hydrocarbon traps.

■Features・Upper limit flow rate 20L/min type, 40/min type
・There is almost no pressure loss even when flowing to the upper limit flow rate (tested)
・With installation tools: Joint (1/4″ x 2, 6mm x 2), wrench x 1, spanner x 1
・SS screen and wool felt on both ends to prevent particulates from entering the gas flow
