About This Product

■Removes moisture from the gas stream.

When replacing gas cylinders, it is easy for gas cylinders, regulators, gas piping, etc. to be contaminated with moisture from the atmosphere. Moisture can shorten column life, degrade the stationary phase, and have detrimental effects on chromatographic measurements. To solve this problem, it is important to incorporate a moisture trap into the gas line to remove moisture. Systech moisture traps not only capture water (H₂O), but also hydrogen chloride (HCl), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), nitrogen dioxide (HO₂), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon dioxide (CO₂), oils, and small aliphatic molecules. Can be removed.

In-line trap that connects to the gas line, saving space Molecular Sieve 13X and Chameleon Indicator (Sorbsil® Chameleon®) *A humidity-sensing silica gel made by treating silica gel, which is also approved as a food additive, with a safe chemical (iron alum) that is not classified as a hazardous substance by PRTR. As it absorbs water, it changes from its initial orange color to a milky white color. When it becomes milky white, it is time to replace the trap. SS screens on both ends to prevent particulates from entering the gas flow
