About This Product

■FeaturesWhen detecting (visualizing) organic compounds, the most common method is to develop a carbonized color. It is usually detected as brown to black spots by spraying and heating dilute sulfuric acid.

With ammonium sulfate modified silica gel H UNIPLATES™ there is no need to spray sulfuric acid before heating. Once the developing solution has evaporated and the plate has dried, detection is possible by simply heating it at 150°C to 200°C for 30 to 60 minutes until carbonization.
