■Remove interfering matrix before ion analysisThe most difficult challenge in many ion chromatography applications is removing interfering matrices from the sample. The interfering matrix may co-elute with the target substance or mask and interfere with the peak of the target substance.

It may also cause column overload or irreversibly react with the column packing material, shortening column life.

S*PURE's Ion Chromatography SPE removes most of these interfering matrices. The metal-free polypropylene reservoir (Extract-Clean™) and cartridge (Maxi-Clean™) are filled with 0.5mL/1.5mL polystyrene resin and held in place by a 20µm polyethylene frit.

Polystyrene resins with various functional groups can retain and remove specific interfering matrix components.
