About This Product

The thermoelement is a basic component of our wax-type product that coexists with a sensor (sensing temperature) and an actuator (driving).It has a built-in WAX and is an element that converts the detected temperature into lift amount (piston movement amount). . ■Moves by sensing temperature

Thermoelements move in response to changes in temperature. When the temperature is high, it expands, and when the temperature is low, it contracts. It senses high temperature and stretches. It senses low temperatures and shrinks. (A shrinking mechanism is required.) By changing the properties of the "paraffin wax", you can freely set the temperature at which it begins to stretch, the slope, and the maximum amount of stretch.

■No power supply required

Thermoelements operate using the thermal expansion of paraffin wax, so they do not require a power source. It is also suitable for places where it is difficult to access electricity or where it is difficult to use electricity, such as around water.

■Resilient to environmental changes

Thermoelements are also used in automobile engine cooling systems, so they can withstand harsh environmental changes. It can also be used in a wider range of environments such as motors, from -40 to 130 degrees Celsius.

■The temperature-sensing part is placed around the object whose temperature you want to sense.

・The thermoelement senses the temperature with the temperature-sensitive part (pink part in the diagram above). - Place the thermoelement so that the object you want to sense temperature (water, air, oil, etc.) hits the temperature sensing part.
