About This Product

Finishing Robot

■A robot system dedicated to finishing processing, infused with Yamaha's craftsmanship.

This is a robot system that specializes in precision finishing processing, which has been difficult to automate up until now. Equipped with the know-how cultivated through musical instrument manufacturing and the skills of skilled workers, we can save labor in processes that require high precision, such as grinding and polishing. Features of finishing robot system

■Robot that reproduces human sensations

We use our unique control functions and software to reproduce the finishing process that humans perform ``intuitively.''

■Load feedback control

When machining with buffs, brushes, etc., the tool status is fed back in real time and the machining path and speed are automatically corrected. This prevents insufficient machining due to wear.

■Offset/rotation speed control

When processing with a sander belt or non-woven belt, the offset value and rotation speed are automatically corrected. This prevents insufficient machining due to paper and wheel wear.

■Press force control

This is a control function that keeps the pressing force constant regardless of the workpiece shape or tool angle, regardless of the position. Any pressing force can be set at any location.

■Teaching support software

In order to reproduce human sensations, it is necessary to check the finish quality during teaching and to input and correct data. We have prepared our own software to reduce these burdens.

■Peripheral equipment that supports finishing processing

In addition to tool holders and buffing heads with automatic control functions to stabilize quality, we also offer a variety of tools to support a variety of processing, including automatic tool changers and automatic wax supply devices.

■Easier automation of finishing processes

Finishing involves a lot of relying on human senses. The burden of teaching is a source of concern for many people. In order to reduce this burden, we introduce the robot "FINISHING MODEL" jointly developed with FANUC. Offline teaching is also available.

■Grinding/polishing system for large metal parts

・20kg payload type that can be systemized according to customer equipment specifications ・This is a system that incorporates the 20kg payload robot M-20iA. We complete the system by selecting peripheral equipment according to the customer's environment. ・Choose the tool according to the purpose
