About This Product

MolCollabo is software that displays biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids in 3D on a head-mounted display and allows you to experience VR. By connecting the VR space via network communication, the displayed molecular structure can be shared and viewed by multiple people, including those in remote locations, facilitating communication with researchers involved in structural analysis and molecular simulation. Settings/operations are also possible using only the PC screen. It comes with a development kit (Asset) for the game development engine Unity, which allows users to expand functionality, making it ideal for creating educational materials and research materials.

・Selection of editing target using VR controller/mouse ・Translation and rotation of atomic coordinates/entire system using VR controller/mouse ・Molecular data superimposition ・Replication/separation/merging of molecular data ・Addition of hydrogen to amino acids/nucleic acids/ligands ・Addition/deletion/type change of ligand bonds and atoms ・Ligand charge calculation/structure optimization ・Amino acid substitution/addition ・Edit molecular chain name/residue name/atom name/element name ・Simple minimization calculation of amino acids

■Collaboration function

・A function that allows multiple people to share the same displayed molecular structure through network communication on the software. ・Voice chat function that allows users to talk even if they are in a remote location ・Ability to share viewpoints with other users ・Function to lock other users' operations other than viewpoint operations
