About This Product

SilC plating® is a new silver-graphite composite plating (Silver-Carbon plating) developed by DOWA. With a plating thickness of 5μm, it has passed a sliding test 20,000 times (load 2N, sliding distance 10mm reciprocating) and has excellent wear resistance. It also has low insertion force and excellent contact reliability, making it a suitable plating for applications that require sliding performance and high reliability, such as charging/high-voltage connectors. We have started post-plating of parts such as terminals, and we can also handle pre-plating (narrow strips/blanks) at the prototype level.
