About This Product

■Features-Easy to handle compared to cotton plugs.
・Since the water evaporation rate is less than half that of a cotton plug, abnormal concentration of the culture solution and PH changes are reduced.
・It has excellent heat resistance and can be repeatedly sterilized by dry heat (180℃) and high pressure steam sterilization.
・It has excellent chemical resistance and can be washed with boiling water, disinfected, or washed with a neutral detergent.
・Because it is hydrophobic, it suppresses the growth of bacteria at the sealing area with the container.
・Flame sterilization is also possible for a short period of time.
・Plug type
・Airflow rate is 50~120cc/min, which reduces moisture evaporation and prevents drying of the culture medium.
