Simply connect it to a USB port to read the unique IC card ID (UID, IDm) recorded on the card and output it to your computer as input from the keyboard. Furthermore, if you use the included settings app "PeTooL", you can also output information such as names and ID numbers recorded in the data area. This IC reader also supports the transmission of Japanese characters such as kanji, kana, and kana, and allows you to easily configure settings to suit your system and environment from your computer screen. Because it is thin, lightweight, and compact in size, it can be installed anywhere and in a space-saving manner.
Functions/Features
■Reading is possible immediately by connecting to the USB port
No drivers or software are required to transfer data to your computer. It operates using the USB human interface that comes standard with Windows OS, so you can output the IC card's unique ID (UID, IDm) as a keyboard image just by plugging it into the USB port of your computer. In addition, by configuring the reading settings using the settings app "PeTooL", it is possible to output data from any block within the card. It is ideal as an authentication device that allows you to easily log in without entering a password by holding up your IC employee ID card.
■Read information from IC card (FeliCa) and enter it into Excel
You can read the ID information (IDm) of your IC card and enter it into your computer in the same way as entering it on a keyboard. It is possible to output the read data to areas where keyboard input is possible, such as Excel or web forms.
■Compatible with 3 types: FeliCa, MIFARE, I-CODE SLI
It corresponds to the common area of FeliCa's FCF and SSFC. Supports block reading of different sectors of MIFARE.
■Supports output of various characters including kanji
It supports not only half-width alphanumeric and kana characters recorded in the data area, but also double-byte characters (kanji, kana, kana). It is possible to configure settings to delete values that are not recognized as character codes, such as "00h" and "FFh", or to replace them with arbitrary characters or spaces before sending.
