About This Product

■EAR's fan mount dampens noise and vibration and is easy to install. E-A-R Specialty Composites produces anti-vibration mounts required for today's compact electronic equipment. We offer fan mounts designed for small cooling fans. The fan mount is a 'golf tee' shaped ISODAMP thermoplastic anti-vibration mount. We offer standard molded products and custom products. EAR's viscoelastic fan mounts are elastic fastening components between the fan and the support frame. Fan mounts serve to prevent the transmission of vibrational energy through structural propagation between components. These vibrations can cause unacceptable resonance, which can significantly impact accurate operation and product life. EAR standard fan mounts are compatible with most commonly used fan installations. This unique shape makes it easy to replace non-vibration-proof metal or rubber mounts. It also provides reliable fixation and vibration/shock countermeasures. Conducted in a semi-acoustic room (noise floor level 26dbA).
