About This Product

・Rotational vibration control of hard disk drives (hot swap & fixed carrier), server/mass storage applications
・Mount for controlling fan and blower noise (no installation tools required)
・Low rebound bumper, collision stopper, impact pad
・Mount material for stepper motors and fractional horsepower motors

■E-A-R ISODAMP C-8002 seriesE-A-R ISODAMP C-8002 series thermoplastics are molding resins with a wide range of applications that combine high damping performance and strength, and comply with environmental and other cleanliness standards. ISODAMP C-8002 TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) can meet the conflicting demands of shock and vibration control. Its molecular structure suppresses vibration amplification at the system's resonance point and provides excellent impact protection in confined spaces.

With its high damping performance, C-8002 effectively absorbs shock and vibration energy inside the resin, quickly returning the system to a stable state. ISODAMP C-8002 is halogen-free and contains no prohibited substances. It is an ideal design solution for the Japanese market and as a material within the constraints of various prohibited substances. It also does not contain silicon, metal oxides, chromium, arsenic, lead, heavy metals, or other prohibited substances.

ISODAMP C-8002 is flexible and moldable, with physical properties such as high strength, excellent abrasion resistance, flame retardancy, and high dielectric properties, making it suitable for a wide range of applications where shock, vibration, and noise control measures are required. It is an ideal material. Standard moldings include grommets, fan mounts, bushings and equipment mounts. It is possible to meet unique design requirements with custom molded products.
