About This Product

TUFCOTE, barrier materials and barrier sound absorbing composites, are highly effective at controlling noise and sound in a wide range of applications due to the combination of the properties of noise-absorbing foams and the properties of barrier materials. Easy to install and economical, this barrier acoustic composite is ideal for car and boat engine room partitions, generator covers, engine fire walls, and inside mechanical equipment enclosures, and is also durable and oil-resistant. There is also a surface protection type that is resistant to dirt, etc. Also available with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) to seal the edges to prevent moisture, oil, and other contamination. It can also be easily die-cut.
