About This Product

■Summary

・Achieving fine particle coating on single particles using a fluidized bed ・Incorporating a screen and impeller type crushing and sizing mechanism inside the fluidized bed, it has become possible to coat in the order of several μm to 100 μm, which was previously difficult due to problems such as agglomeration. ・DEM simulation is used to promote flow using fan blades and optimize the container shape. ・Can also handle fine particle granulation, wax coating, etc. ・Won the 9th Nakai Award

■Principle

・The swirling flow system keeps the height of the powder fluidized bed low, allowing efficient spray coating of particles flowing at the bottom of the device. ・A crushing mechanism using a screen and impeller breaks up agglomerates that occur during coating operations, making it possible to coat fine single particles. ・For fine particle coating, a low air volume and smaller spray droplets are required so as not to disturb the particle flow. In order to meet these needs, we have developed a high-pressure, low-airflow nozzle called the NPXⅡ nozzle.
