About This Product

■Plasteco's supercritical inert gas foam molding

A new extrusion foam molding system using supercritical inert gas. Plasteco is able to propose a system optimized for foaming at a low price by building a global system. We can carry out foaming tests with your desired resin at our testing facilities, allowing for reliable and quick equipment startup.

■Foaming agent is safe and environmentally friendly

Unlike hydrocarbon-based physical foaming agents, it is not explosive or flammable, so there is no need to make the equipment explosion-proof. It has a lower global warming potential than hydrocarbon-based physical foaming agents, making it an environmentally friendly technology. Unlike chemical foaming agents, it is not toxic and leaves no residue, making it highly recyclable.

■For molding high-performance foams

Foaming using supercritical inert gas allows the formation of microscopic bubbles of several micrometers. It can also be applied to foaming crystalline resins, etc., which were previously difficult to foam at high magnifications. It is possible to add optical performance by controlling the bubble diameter and apply it to high-performance insulation materials.

■Support with total technology

Plasteco provides consistent support from raw materials to molding equipment and molding process development. Supercritical inert gas supply equipment can also handle carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and other inert gases. Our standard lineup of foam molding machines includes extrusion molding machines and RIM molding machines.
