About This Product

LPVR-AIR offers all the features of the LPVR-CAD system, plus the benefit of wireless streaming of image data from SteamVR applications such as Autodesk VRED to Meta Quest 2 or Pro. LP-Research's FusionHub software, in combination with the open source application ALVR, provides the perfect solution for such applications. By default, ALVR uses Meta Quest's internal inside-out tracking for pose calculations. LPVR-AIR replaces Quest's native inside-out tracking with outside-in tracking that combines IMU and ART/Optitrack, allowing for high-capacity tracking to operate multiple HMDs simultaneously and spatially synchronized. It will look like this. To make FusionHub's tracking capabilities available to standalone augmented reality and virtual reality headsets, it is integrated with Android-compatible OpenXR HMDs using a customized version of the ALVR open source project. ALVR enables wireless streaming of images from a host computer and provides an interface to 3D content engines through SteamVR. The original ALVR client was built to work with Meta Quest HMDs, but ALVR works with OpenXR compatible headsets.
