About This Product

■Main features

Lightweight, flexible, broadband, open-cell foamed polyurethane absorbent sealed in an impermeable woven nylon fabric with a neoprene coating ・Multi-layered polyurethane sheet impregnated with carbon ・Flame retardant and self-extinguishing properties ・Frequency range is 600MHz to 40GHz ・Reflection coefficient is -20dB compared to metal plate at normal incident angle and above specified frequency band ・Bacterial resistance according to MIL-STD-810 E

■Main uses

・ANW is waterproof and can be used outdoors or in areas that come into contact with fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, etc. ・Isolate electromagnetic wave components due to high insertion loss, cover the periphery to improve the antenna pattern, and selectively cover part of the target during RCS ・Covering antenna posts, supports, wall linings, and structures to reduce reflections in anechoic chambers and outdoor measurement sites. ・Effective in reducing surface current of metal objects ・Reduced interference between components and antennas due to insertion loss (no need for lining with metal plate)

■Dimensions/Type

・Standard dimensions are 61cm x 61cm ・Thickness varies depending on the lower limit frequency of the desired operating frequency band ・Can be supplied with non-standard dimensions, specific shapes, diagonally cut, or already attached to metal parts - For small curved parts where neoprene-coated nylon fabric cannot be used, seal with a resilient, impermeable spray coating. ・Custom-made products such as three-dimensional curved shapes wrapped around a core are also available.

■How to use

・In order to reduce reflection, it is necessary to attach it to a metal surface. If no metal surface is available, ANW lined with aluminum foil inside the waterproof jacket can also be supplied. ・If you layer it in several layers or slice it to make it thinner, the overall characteristics will deteriorate. ・Characteristics deteriorate at bistatic angles that deviate from normal or normal incidence angles and at different polarization planes. ・Easy to adhere absorbers to each other or to metal, wood, general plastic composite materials, etc. Recommended adhesive is ECCOSTOCK 13-111-NF
