About This Product
■Summary
The handheld moisture meter AM-III can measure all types of paper and paperboard instantly and non-destructively. Even in paper rolls, stacked paper, and reamed paper that are being wound up, the moisture content can be accurately measured by bringing the bottom roller into contact with the measurement target.
■Measurement principle
The high frequency waves emitted from the rollers are stored in the dielectric between the case and the rollers. The moisture content is calculated from the accumulated capacitance and displayed as a percentage on the LED display of the main unit. AM-Ⅲ comes with 11 pre-installed calibration curves for calculating moisture content.
You can switch the calibration curve according to the measurement target. Calibration data is programmed into the main unit (microcontroller). Measurement is possible even while winding. If you slide it sideways while in contact with the roll, you can also measure in the width direction.
