There is no correlation between shear rate and viscosity. Therefore, the viscosity of the coating agent used in the coater must be measured at its shear rate.
AX-100 is the world's only ultra-high shear viscometer that can measure viscosity at high shear rates (up to 1,000,000 sec-1), which conventional viscometers cannot measure. Viscosity can be measured in a short time with a small amount of sample. Compliant with APPI T582 pm-22.
■Summary
Viscosity can be easily measured by simply setting a small amount of sample and entering the conditions on the touch panel. Measurement data can be sent to a PC via Ethernet or retrieved via USB memory.
■Advantages of introduction
Helps adjust coating agent to optimal viscosity. This can be used to avoid problems caused by coating, and to determine whether it is the machine side or the coating agent side when a problem occurs with the coater machine. Additionally, by optimizing the coating agent, it is possible to reduce costs by increasing the solid content and reducing the amount of binder.
