About This Product

■FeaturesRoQ is a next-generation roll hardness tester that can measure the winding hardness of a roll at a minimum pitch of 1mm in the width direction. The measured data is immediately displayed on the rear touch panel display. In addition, by connecting to a PC with a USB cable, measurement data can be extracted as an Excel file.

■SummaryThe measuring wheel at the bottom measures distance and speed, and the measuring hammer finely strikes the roll surface to measure hardness. Hardness is defined as the negative gravitational acceleration (unit: g) from when the measuring hammer contacts the roll surface until it stops.

The speed at which RoQ is moved on the roll is determined by the color of the arrow shown on the display. (Green: Proper, Red: Fast, Blue: Slow/Stopped) The results will be displayed on the touch panel display immediately after the measurement is completed. (Past data can also be viewed on the RoQ itself.) A folder with the date of measurement is automatically created for the measurement data and stored there.

The file name will be the hour, minute, and second of the measurement and, if entered, the role ID. Example) 133020_12345 (13:30, 20 seconds, role ID 12345) *If the role ID is not entered, the file name will only be hours, minutes, and seconds.You can connect the PC with a USB cable and extract the measurement data as an Excel file. can.

■Advantages of introductionIt is used in the paper and film industries for pre-shipment inspections, and in the printing industry for acceptance inspections. There is also an application where the deterioration status of rubber rolls is quantified by measuring the hardness using RoQ. Since it measures in detail in the width direction, it is also effective in detecting wrinkles inside the roll.
