■DED – Directed Energy Deposition

It is a method of melting metal by irradiating the metal powder material or filament with energy such as high-power laser light, electron beam, or plasma arc. It is thought that the vertical type, which had a small sintered area, experienced little temperature change, so no large strain occurred.
