About This Product
■DESIGNER Companion support
"WORKNC Designer", which was an option until V2021, can now be used as "DESIGNER Companion" (maintenance contract required)
■Main functions
・Modeling and external data input: 3D modeling from drawings/DXF data and input of external 3D data such as IGES/STEP
・Model verification and correction: Detection and correction of missing surfaces/trim removal/overlapping surfaces/microsurfaces/self-interference surfaces, etc. in external 3D data
・Model confirmation and editing: Confirmation and editing of draft angle, fillet radius, undercut part, continuity between surfaces, etc.
・Creating a model for processing: Creation of auxiliary surfaces such as hole filling/extension (Functionality is limited depending on the "WORKNC" module you are using.)
・Drawing creation: Creation of views/section views/enlarged drawings/dimensions/notes in conjunction with 3D models
■ Cooperation between “DESIGNER Companion” and WORKNC
After creating a model for processing with "DESIGNER Companion", click "Send CAM" and select the model. "WORKNC" will automatically start and a work zone will be created. If there are surfaces or curves that need to be added while creating a machining path, you can also create them using ``DESIGNER Companion'', export them, and import them using ``WORKNC''.
■About the specifications of “DESIGNER Companion”
- After installing WORKNC2022, it is necessary to apply the latest license.
-Can only be installed on Windows 10 PCs.
-You can use 1 license of ``DESIGNER Companion'' for every 1 license of ``WORKNC'' with which you have a maintenance contract.
・When the maintenance contract ends, "DESIGNER Companion" will become unusable.
・When you start ``DESIGNER Companion'', the ``WORKNC'' license is also used for the same device, so you can use them together on the same device, but you cannot use them on different devices at the same time.
