About This Product

■Features

The dental CAM software "WORKNC DENTAL" is the NC data (processing data) required to cut the 3D shape data of a dental technique designed using dental CAD using a dental milling machine. This software is designed to convert . Normally, general-purpose CAM software used in the general manufacturing industry requires special expertise and know-how regarding processing, but dental technicians and dentists who do not have such prior skills are required to operate it. WORKNC DENTAL is specialized for dentistry so that doctors can use it immediately. Calculations are processed by the general-purpose CAM "WORKNC" engine, which boasts a rich track record in the industrial world, and machining data can be created in a short time by operating a user-like interface.

■Pin block machining project

Multiple pin blocks set in a processing machine jig can be calculated at once. It is also possible to separate machining data by workpiece position.

■Cutting sequence assignment

When machining discs, even if various prosthesis types are mixed in the same project, the appropriate cutting sequence (machining template) can be assigned to each shape. The display color changes depending on the selected sequence so that you can visually see that a different sequence is assigned to each shape. Various cutting sequences are available depending on the milling machine model, the prosthesis shape to be processed, the material, and the combination of tools used.

■Nesting function

Nesting (positioning) allows you to freely orient and position prosthetic shapes within the material to fit within the dimensions of the material being used. In the case of a pin block, by deliberately leaving the machining area (area required for machining) protruding from the block as shown in the photo on the left, it is expected that wear on the tools used in rough machining operations can be reduced to a considerable extent. .
