About This Product

Thin films" add even higher functionality and added value to glass. New functions can be added by applying a thin film of metal or compound to the glass surface. Approximately 100 layers of dielectric material are applied to the substrate glass, which has high light transmittance, low expansion, and high heat resistance, to achieve a reflectance of nearly 100%. It has high heat resistance of over 300℃. Furthermore, by optimizing the film design, it is possible to fabricate a dielectric half mirror with any reflectance/transmittance ratio.
