About This Product

ARG fiber is a glass fiber that contains a high concentration of zirconia as a glass component and has excellent alkali resistance and acid resistance. It is used as a reinforcing material in glass fiber reinforced concrete (GRC), calcium silicate products, etc., and as a crack suppressant in mortar and concrete. It has been widely used in the architectural and civil engineering fields for over 40 years. Chopped strands, which are made by cutting strands of 50 to 200 glass filaments (single fibers) into various lengths, can be used as reinforcing materials for fiber reinforced concrete (GRC), calcium silicate products, and slag plaster products in mortar and concrete. It is used as a crack suppressing material. Taking advantage of the alkali and acid resistance of chopped strands, it is also used in glass paper and filters.
