About This Product

<Microcapillary> is a borosilicate glass capillary. Used as optical fiber connection support for optical connectors, optical fiber splices, and optical devices. <Microcapillary> has similar polishing characteristics to silica glass optical fiber, making it easy to obtain the high-quality polished surface required for PC connection. Suitable for components of optical components with strict return loss requirements, such as high-speed analog communication devices such as CATV systems. <Microcapillary> is relatively easy to elastically deform, so the PC connection characteristics of the optical connector are good. Additionally, this glass material has high UV light transmittance, so it can be fastened to optical fibers, lenses, and holders using UV-curable adhesives. In addition, we also have a ``coating retaining type'' that can be inserted into the optical fiber's coating, and a ``precision glass tube'' type that can be used as a jacket tube.
