About This Product

Powdered glass for LTCC (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics) is a composite material that is a blend of glass powder and ceramic powder. Since it can be fired at 870 to 900℃, gold or silver, which has high electrical conductivity, can be used for the inner layer conductor, resulting in a circuit board with good electrical properties.

■Features

・MLS-25M is an amorphous material with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and a low dielectric constant. ・MLS-25E is a new product with a dielectric constant of less than 4. ・MLS-41 is a crystalline high dielectric constant material. ・MLS-1000 is a crystalline, high strength, high heat resistant material (contains lead). ・MLS-26 is a crystalline high strength material. ・MLS-63 is a crystalline high strength, low dielectric loss material. Usage example

■Molding

Binder, solvent, and plasticizer are added to powdered glass/ceramics, thoroughly kneaded, and then formed into a green sheet with a thickness of 30 to 300 μm using the doctor blade method. After cutting the green sheet to an appropriate size, it undergoes processing such as punching via holes and printing conductors.

■Lamination

Green sheets can be integrated by heating and pressing at a temperature of 50 to 100°C and a pressure of 10 to 35 MPa.

■Baking

Firing is done in air.
