■What is PMAC?

・PMAC (Programmable Multi Axis Controller) is a motion controller for 8-axis synchronous control developed by Delta Tau in 1990. ・In 1997, we developed Turbo PMAC, which realized 32-axis synchronous control, making it possible to handle even more complex applications. - The main processor is equipped with the DSP56300 series, and all complex trajectory control is processed within the PMAC (can be used standalone). ・The black box has been eliminated and all internal memory information has been made public. ・Super high speed servo cycle - Position loop calculation cycle can be freely set via software. - Contributes to improving positioning accuracy and speed stability. ・Synchronized control of up to 32 axes ・Since it is centrally controlled by the CPU (high-performance DSP), synchronization will not be lost even if the number of control axes increases. ・Multi-vendor compatible - User-oriented systems can be constructed by combining motors, drivers, and encoders from different manufacturers.

■Basic functions of Turbo PMAC

・Ultra high-speed PID loop calculation ・Performs synchronization of up to 32 axes and ultra-precise positioning. ・Execution of motion program - Up to 16 programs can be executed simultaneously. ・Execution of PLC program - Scan up to 64 programs with multitasking.
