About This Product

A gemstone appraisal microscope with standard functions and specifications required for gemstone appraisal. A gemstone appraisal microscope is an important piece of equipment that is most commonly used in gemstone appraisals, along with refractometers and loupes. It is equipped with all the functions necessary for gemstone appraisal, so it can be used with confidence by both those who are already working as gemstone appraisers and those who are just starting out in gemstone appraisal.

■This product has the following specifications.- Brightfield transmitted illumination equipped with an iris diaphragm can be used to observe growth structures such as striae and twins in gemstones.
・Transmitted illumination can be switched to dark field illumination with one touch. Can be used to observe inclusions in gemstones.
- Transmitted illumination is a halogen light source that has traditionally been used for diamond appraisal. It uses a very bright 6V30W bulb.
-Equipped with overhead lighting that allows you to check engravings and polishing marks on the surface of the gemstone. Flexible arm type allows irradiation from any direction.
・Overhead lighting is fluorescent with a color temperature of 6,400K. Reduces yellowing when observing diamonds.
- Covers the overall magnification of 10x to 45x commonly used for jewelry appraisal. By using the optional eyepiece, it is possible to observe at up to 90x.
・360° rotating base specification suitable for information sharing.
-Ergonomic design that allows the microscope to be tilted up to 45 degrees to suit the height and posture of the user.
- Comes with a sturdy aluminum carrying case. You can safely move the microscope when transporting it to exhibitions, etc.

In addition, multiple optional items are available, such as a polarized light observation device and a holder for holding irregularly shaped gemstones, making it highly expandable. In addition to eyepiece observation, we also offer a trinocular type that allows you to take pictures with a microscope camera.
