About This Product

■Product overview

Molybdenum plates made using our unique rolling know-how. We manufacture everything from thick plates to thin plates by leveraging our unique rolling know-how. Due to its high melting point, it is used in high-temperature furnace components, electrodes, etc., and its high specific gravity is used as a radiation shielding material. We can also provide the world's highest level of high purity molybdenum plates for sputtering targets, which are manufactured in-house from raw materials.

X-ray shielding materials, furnace structural members, electrodes, etc.

■Variety selection guide

・MOP: The most common pure molybdenum material. It has a high melting point, high strength at high temperatures, high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and excellent workability. ・TEM: A high-quality molybdenum material that overcomes the shortcomings of pure molybdenum, such as its brittleness and deformation at high temperatures, by adding a small amount of special elements. ・TEM-B: Excellent high-temperature deformation resistance and room-temperature impact resistance, and can also be plastic processed at room temperature. Additionally, it has greater high-temperature strength than pure molybdenum. This is a high-quality molybdenum material that overcomes the shortcomings of pure molybdenum, such as its brittleness and deformation at high temperatures, by adding a small amount of special elements. It has excellent high-temperature deformation resistance, has a high recrystallization temperature, and has a wedge-shaped recrystallized structure. It has excellent impact resistance even after high temperature use, and can be deformed at room temperature. It also has greater bendability than pure molybdenum. ・DMB: Excellent deformation resistance at high temperatures, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and exhibits excellent properties in vacuum or reducing atmosphere.
