About This Product

■Summary

In combination with the DET-AC III Slave device, it is possible to extinguish fires in up to 5 connected racks.

■Product description

The extension unit connected to the DET-AC III Master also has a built-in fire extinguishing unit. In addition to the DET-AC III Master unit, install one DET-AC III Slave unit in each connected enclosure. Each unit is stocked with enough extinguishing agent for one enclosure. Even when multiple enclosures are connected, smoke detection (fire detection) is performed by the DET-AC III Master unit. When the main alarm is triggered, the DET-AC III Master will simultaneously extinguish the fire using all devices.

- New fire extinguishing gas Novec™ 1230, environmentally friendly, non-hazardous to IT components, non-conductive ・19 inch slide-in unit, only 1 U ・Inspection by VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH ・CAN bus interface for CMC III monitoring system ・In combination with DET-AC III Master, extinguishes fire inside up to 5 connected enclosures. ・Can be used in combination with EFD III. ・Potential-free relay output (pre-alarm, main alarm/batch abnormality notification)

■Specifications

- Extinguishing agent release is by an electrically actuated unit containing a compressed gas cartridge. ・Built-in extinguishing agent monitoring function (indicates reduction of 15% or more)

■Interface

・4 x/3 x alarm and fault relay outputs (terminal/RJ12 socket) ・1 x/1 x input for door contact switch (terminal/RJ12 socket) ・2 x Master-Slave CAN connection for network ・2x connectors (external emergency notification/manual alarm) ・1 x Power output for DET-AC III Slave (24 V DC, max. 500 mA) ・1 x USB ・2 x CAN bus interface to CMC III (up to 16 connections to PU / up to 4 connections to PU compact)
