About This Product

Sunray methyl chloride combustion abatement equipment is a device that incinerates methyl chloride at a high temperature, then rapidly cools it, washes it, and detoxifies it. This is an environmental device that is ideal for complying with laws and regulations such as the Chemical Substances Release Control Promotion Act (PRTR Act) and VOC emission regulations, such as the incinerator design and the installation of a neutralization tank to suppress the generation of dioxins as necessary.

■Product description

Adsorption methods (activated carbon, zeolite, etc.) and combustion methods (catalytic, direct, thermal storage) are adopted as treatment methods for volatile organic compound (VOC) emission regulations. When organic chlorine exhaust gas is treated in the combustion method, hydrogen chloride is contained in the combustion gas. This equipment is equipped with an alkaline water cleaning tower to clean and remove these harmful gases. Additionally, if hydrocarbons are generated in advance, they may react with hydrogen chloride and produce harmful dioxins. To prevent this, the furnace is designed to maintain a high temperature (over 850°C) and sufficient residence time (over 2 seconds). Furthermore, it suppresses the generation of harmful substances (dioxins, etc.), which is said to be able to cool combustion gases at temperatures above 900°C to below 100°C within 0.1 seconds.

■Suppressing the generation of dioxins

The exhaust gas incinerator suppresses the generation of dioxins with high temperature (over 850℃) and sufficient residence time (over 2 seconds).

■Completely harmless treatment

After incineration, if necessary, treat with hydrochloric acid gas in a neutralization tank to make it completely harmless.

Designed and constructed with safety as the top priority, including anti-corrosion measures using FRP, installation of explosion-proof doors, and exhaust gas sealing system during power outages.
