About This Product
The air-fuel positioner FAPN-S1 type (previous model FAPN-S type) is an electronic version of the conventional mechanical link cam mechanism for combustion control of burners for boilers and industrial furnaces, maximizing burner combustion efficiency. It has a function that enables low air ratio (low O2) operation. Inputs the combustion load signal (4 to 20mA DC) and converts it into an optimal function (broken line). According to this function, a function curve is created that gives the optimum air ratio for the burner fuel valve and air damper opening, and control is based on this.
In addition to the functions of FAPN-S1, the air-fuel positioner FAPN-W type has four function curves (4 modes) for setting the opening of the fuel valve and air damper.

The fuel valve and air damper are each directly controlled by independent control motors. There is no backlash or misalignment that occurs with mechanical links, maintaining high reliability and durability.

■Self-diagnosis function and safety
If the fuel valve or air damper reverses or stagnates, the self-diagnosis function will display an alarm and shut off combustion. Comes with a key lock function to prevent accidental operation.
■Backup of input data
Non-volatile memory (EEPROM) saves data even during power outages.
■Low air ratio operation throughout the year (W type)
By switching the mode according to the ambient temperature, etc., you can operate with the appropriate amount of air all year round, achieving even greater energy savings.
■Control multiple fuels with one unit (W type)
Easy operation that allows you to achieve the optimal air ratio by simply switching the mode according to the fuel.
