While off-the-shelf roll dialysis tubing may be suitable for occasional research or analysis dialysis, many multi-batch dialysis applications require the use of dialysis membranes in preparation for a specific application or assembly step. Requires frequent routine processing and handling. Using dialysis membranes customized for specific applications reduces processing time and requires minimal handling, streamlining assembly manufacturing and lowering manufacturing costs.
■Pre-cut dialysis membrane
Dialysis tubing and 1-ply membranes are pre-cut into discs, sheets, strips, or squares for immediate integration into assay kits, ready-to-use devices, and dialysis machines.
■Pre-roll dialysis membrane
Dialysis tubing and 1-ply ribbon are supplied in rolls in specified lengths. For ease of use, a dialysis tubing closure can be attached and placed in a separate pouch.
■Sterilized/GMP packaging
Dialysis tubing and monolayer membranes can be packaged in bulk pouches for GMP. It can also be pre-irradiated to minimize the risk of microbial contamination during use.
