Non-destructive testing system using IrNDT

■The IrNDT series has a modular design that can be optimized for the desired inspection by combining the necessary hardware and software, and incorporates all known active thermography technologies.

■What is active thermography?

・Active thermography = A technology that images the internal temperature distribution of an object to be inspected. ・Create heat flow inside the object to be inspected ・The internal temperature of that part changes depending on the internal structure and defects. ・The flow of heat is transmitted from the inside to the surface, and the change over time is photographed with an infrared camera ⇒ Obtain the temperature distribution inside ・Internal temperature distribution Areas with low temperature = heat passes through more easily than the surrounding area, areas with high temperature = heat passes through more easily than the surrounding area ・The internal structure and existence of defects can be determined from the internal temperature.

Heat source: Halogen lamp, etc. Infrared camera: Consists of an uncooled smart infrared camera and software.
