Non-destructive testing system using IrNDT ■The IrNDT series has a modular design that can be optimized for the desired inspection by combining the necessary hardware and software, and incorporates all known active thermography technologies. ・Lock-in thermography ・Pulse thermography ・Transient thermography ・Vibration thermography ・Thermoelastic stress analysis Depending on the inspection work, we build a system by supplementing the evaluation modules necessary for the IrNDT basic package. In other words, you can easily build an inspection system that incorporates only what is necessary for inspection, as if it were a custom-made product. (Economical and compact inspection solution) ■What is active thermography? ・Active thermography = A technology that images the internal temperature distribution of an object to be inspected. ・Create heat flow inside the object to be inspected ・The internal temperature of that part changes depending on the internal structure and defects. ・The flow of heat is transmitted from the inside to the surface, and the change over time is photographed with an infrared camera ⇒ Obtain the temperature distribution inside ・Internal temperature distribution Areas with low temperature = heat passes through more easily than the surrounding area, areas with high temperature = heat passes through more easily than the surrounding area ・The internal structure and existence of defects can be determined from the internal temperature. ■Main implementation results ・Inspection of aircraft fuselage and wings ・Inspection of composite materials (CFRP and glass fiber) ・Inspection of ceramic materials ・Inspection of adhesion and welding ・Inspection of plastic materials In particular, we have delivered many cost-effective systems for inspecting thin materials. ■System overview The system consists of a heat source (heat source), an infrared camera, and software.
