About This Product

■What is a suction hand?This is a vacuum chuck type ceramic hand that uses hollow integral molding technology to form a vacuum line without using any adhesive.

It has features such as ``heat resistance'' that takes advantage of the characteristics of ceramics, ``less sag than the same type of metal hand,'' and ``light weight.'' In particular, the vacuum chuck type ceramic hand does not use adhesives, so it can be used at high temperatures, and it is also effective as a countermeasure against organic outgassing from adhesives.

A transfer hand (end effector) equipped with a suction mechanism must have an internal flow path, but SUS pasting using adhesive increases the risk of foreign matter contamination.

Ceramic suction and conveyance hands made with our integrated cavity technology, which eliminates the risk of metal contamination and particle contamination, have become the industry standard.

Regarding the suction performance of the vacuum chuck type hand, we conduct flow rate and leak tests according to our internal regulations. Please contact us for details.

■Features・We can process the mounting holes of your choice. Holes can be drilled at any position along the entire length from the base.
- The position of the suction port can be adjusted. It is possible to drill holes on the front and back sides above the center line.
・The monocoque specification with an integrated cavity is stronger than the laminated specification.
・Significant cost reduction. Since a common mold is used through standardization, there is no need for the expensive mold costs that conventionally occur.

■What is a transport hand?Used to move silicon wafers in and out of cassettes and process chambers using robots. Ceramics are used because they reduce deflection due to their high strength, are resistant to high temperature environments, and are used to solve problems such as metal contamination and dust generation.
