About This Product

■Product overview

Taxeram is an acidic organic acid aluminum salt based on basic aluminum lactate, represented by Al (OH) ₃-x (Lac.acid) x・nH₂O. Because lactic acid, which has a chelating effect on metal ions and alkalis, is reacted with aluminum to form a basic salt composition, it has the special property of being usable even in alkaline environments such as cement. Therefore, it is used as an additive for alkaline refractories to improve air permeability and suppress the digestion of basic aggregates, and as an aluminum dopant as a raw material for composite oxides.
